Bird’s eye view of Dubai from Tallest Building of the World - Burj Khalifa


Dubai, the dazzling cosmopolitan city on the shore of Persian Gulf is one of the prime tourist attractions in the Middle-East and the biggest charm of Dubai is its stunning skyline which is ornamented by tall towering buildings that stand as icons of modern architecture.



They stand as symbols of urbanization and the flourishing economy of UAE. At Downtown Dubai stands one such tower, which has earned recognition as the tallest man-made structure in the world. It’s Burj Dubai and is now known as Burj Khalifa. There are lots of things to see and places to visit in Dubai but a trip to the city of the Emirates would remain incomplete without standing in front of this gigantic tower and realizing how small one is.



The amazing tower stands on an area of 490 acres and its pencil-like tip ends at a height of 829.8 meters or 2,722 feet. It’s masterpiece of modern architecture and one as a visitor would surely salute Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago, Adrian Smith and Bill Baker, the prime construction company, the chief architect and the structural engineer. Burj Khalifa Stands on Sheikh Zayed Road but towering height of the building makes it visible from miles away.



The structure itself is an attraction but the biggest highlight of Burj Khalifa is the indescribable bird’s eye view of Dubai skyline that is offered by the observatory dock, which is on the 124th floor. The building is home to countless numbers of residential apartments, commercial properties, hotels and restaurants. To ensure a complete trip to the city of Emirates, one must check out and compare between Dubai packages that allow ample time to explore this architectural masterpiece.
